Terms of service

1. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secret, and for the activity of anyone you invite into your workspace. Accounts are for named people, not shared logins.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. You confirm you are allowed to upload each document and to have it processed for the purpose you chose.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you have no right to process.
• Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not resell raw access to the extraction service as your own product without a written agreement.

4. Plans, credits and payment

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling keeps access until the end of the period you paid for. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades take effect at renewal. Credit packs are one-off purchases and are non-refundable once consumed.

5. Accuracy

Formalini uses automated recognition. It flags uncertain values for review, but it does not guarantee that every extracted value is correct. You are responsible for reviewing data before relying on it for safety, legal, financial or compliance purposes.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not offer a formal uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Planned maintenance is announced where practical.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data where you held no copy of the original document.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or does not pay. On termination we delete your documents and extracted data after a short grace period.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect.
